Because i could wait for you..

I followed the flight of those white pigeons..

Down the bridge of happiness..flowed..the godly Ganges..

I wish i could swim..

I wish i could fly..

I wish i could go beyond the barrier that separates us,

I wish i could clasp those hands..of yours..

I wish i could stop you and never let you go..

Relishing the noons or the nights that we've spent..together,

Recalling your bright morning face..

Rolls down tears from these..eyes.


I wish to get glimpse of yours before i shut these eyes..


I wish to hear the sound of your bangles that i hear..but in dreams..every night,


Crumbled the dreams..at a glance..

I wish to feel the touch of yours that somewhere..i've lost..
